Flawd is a dating app built on honest imperfection. These terms keep it that way. These terms are an agreement between you and Flawd Inc. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. You must be 18 or older
By creating an account you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these terms.
2. Own your flaws honestly
The app matches people through the flaws they claim. Misrepresenting yourself — fake flaws, fake photos, fake age — undermines everyone's matches and may lead to account removal.
3. One flaw leads; the rest are earned
By default one flaw you choose shows on your profile as a teaser, Flawd+ members may preview your full list, and matching reveals the flaws you share. Turn "Show my flaws" off in Settings to hide them all — no subscription unlocks them. Flaws are meant to be shared in conversation, on your terms.
4. Flaws are not weapons
What someone shares about their imperfections is offered in trust. Using another member's flaws to mock, shame, harass, or manipulate them is grounds for immediate removal.
5. Your content
You own the photos, videos, and voice messages you share, and you're responsible for them. Don't upload content that is illegal, explicit without consent, or belongs to someone else. You grant Flawd the limited license needed to store and deliver your content to your matches.
6. Location
Your city and coordinates are used to show matches near you. You can enter them manually instead of granting location access, and other users only ever see a coarse distance.
7. Safety: blocking, reporting, unmatching
You can block, report, or unmatch any user at any time. Blocked users can't see you or message you. Reports are confidential and reviewed. Your comfort outranks anyone's curiosity.
8. Flawd+ subscriptions
Flawd+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID. Manage or cancel it any time in your device's subscription settings. Features that reveal another user's information always respect that user's privacy choices — a subscription never overrides someone else's settings.
9. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab, which permanently erases your data. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.
10. Kindness is the house rule
This is a space built on the idea that imperfection is worth loving. Hate speech, discrimination, and cruelty toward any gender, orientation, religion, or family situation have no place here.
